Before I understood systems, I understood story.
Writing and spoken word were my first ways of exploring questions that now also sit within my systemic practice: love, loss, faith, family, identity, belonging, inheritance and what happens when the story we thought we were living changes.
I am particularly interested in language because the way we speak about ourselves can reveal the meanings through which we have learned to experience our lives.
“I'm always the strong one.”

Sometimes a sentence is not simply a description. It can reveal an entire organisation of identity, relationship and belonging.

I speak about the intersection of story and system, and what systemic thinking can contribute to wider conversations about relationships, rupture, family, culture, faith, identity and belonging.
My background in writing, poetry, media and culture informs the way I communicate this work — translating complex systemic ideas into language that is accessible without removing their depth.
